Trishala was born on 10 August 1988 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to Sanjay Dutt, a well-known Bollywood actor. Her mother Richa Sharma death was due to a brain tumour on December 10, 1996, when she was just 8 years old.
After which she is living with her aunt Enna Sharma (her mother’s sister) in Bayside, Queens, New York. This is where her entire childhood was spent.
She did her schooling in New York and graduated in criminal law from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York. Additionally, she did her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Hofstra University.
