Raj was born on 30 October 1994 (age 26 years in 2020) in Kolkata, West Bengal. His real name is Rudrajit Barman.
Like normal children, Raj also played cricket. He has started singing from age of 15 years. While he was singing the whole day at home his mother has noticed that voice is too good.
His mother has recorded the voice and taken to Guru Pintu Bhattacharya and his journey to becoming a singer started. Raj did his schooling from the best school in West Bengal, Julien Day School.
He made his debut as a playback singer with the film Kuasha Jakhon (2018) and Meher Ali (2017). Now he is one of the successful world music singers. He is ranked as a celebrity, who is only 26 years old.
Raj has performed a live concert at almost everywhere in India and has also given live singing performance in Bangladesh.
Career in YouTube
He started the YouTube channel in the year 2009. Currently, he has uploaded 78 videos and more than 249 million views on his channel.
His July 2018 “New vs. Old 2 Bollywood Mashup” with Deepshikha Raina went viral and got more than 99 Million views and got overnight sensation. In this way, the attention of the youth of India and the music director went to him.
