Biography – Early Life & Career
Preksha Rana was born on 07th January 2000 (age 22 years in 2021)in Gaggal, Himachal Pradesh. She is beautiful and cute since childhood.
Preksha grew up in Himachal Pradesh and did her schooling from Mount Carmel School in Gaggal. She completed her graduation in Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Himachal Pradesh University.
In 2017, Preksha participated in the fifth iteration of miss Himalaya pageant competition which was held on 7th and 8th October at Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (Tipa), Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh.
The competition saw a tough contest between nine finalists, eight of whom were from Himachal Pradesh. The winner of this competition was Preksha and was also given a cash prize of 1 lakh.
After winning the title of Miss Himalaya in 2017, Preksha wanted to be a Bollywood’s heroine, but her recent goal is to work in the Punjabi film industry.
She told in an interview that, she never had an inclination towards modelling. She had her first appearance as a fashion model for the clothing line at Amazon India.
Preksha was fond of traditional dance since childhood, which is why she is a classically trained as a Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer and has won many awards in dance events in Himachal Pradesh.
