Hansika was born on 09 August 1991 in a Sindhi family in Mumbai, her father is a businessman while her mother is a skin and cosmetic doctor. Hansika did her schooling from Podar International School, her mother has been a huge contributor to Hansika’s career.

Controversy
- Once Hansika went to New York on a personal trip, where she clicked some of her pictures. The pictures which was a very private pictures was taken by Hansika, but it went viral on the media. Hansika said that her mobile was hacked by someone, from where these pictures were leaked.
