Biography – Early Life & Career
Disha Parmar was born on 11 November 1994 (age 26 years in 2021) in New Delhi, India to a Rajput family. She had a deep interest in acting and modelling since childhood.
She did her schooling from the Sadhu Vaswani International School, New Delhi. During her schooling, she worked for a year in a Delhi-based company ‘Elite Model Management India Private Limited‘ and also organize auditions for Rajshree Production.
Thereafter, she enrolled at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi, from where she completed her graduation.
During this time she auditioned in Rajshree Production and in her very first audition she was selected for the lead role of Pankhuri in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (2012). She was just 17 when she was selected for the role.
She gained so much popularity from this show that she left her studies in midway. People gave a lot of love to the pair of Disha Parmar (Pankhuri) and Nakuul Mehta (Aditya).
After this show, Disha appeared as a guest in many TV shows, then 3 years later in 2017, she made a comeback with Zee TV show Woh Apna Sa. In this show, Disha played Jhanvi Jindal for a year and a half.
Apart from this, she also appeared in many prints and commercial advertisements in Delhi. She continued with working in the commercials along with the TV shows.
