Biography – Early Life & Career
Jasmin Bhasin is a 30 years old gorgeous actress, who was born on 28 June 1990 in Kota, Rajasthan. Her nickname is ‘Jas‘ and her zodiac is Cancer.
She did her schooling from Kota-based school and later graduated in Hospitality from one of the Jaipur’s college.
She never even dreamed that she would become an actress. After completing her hotel management studies, she shifted to Delhi for her training.
Meanwhile, a team doing a photoshoot stayed at the same 5-star hotel and offers a shoot to Jasmin. She frankly agreed for the shoot, but she did not know that a photoshoot would change her life.
Due to this shoot, now the world of glamour started to notice her. In 2010, she got her first Ad as South Indian company Chennai Diamonds.
After the ad, she got a chance to act in the very big Tamil movie Vaanam. Where her co-stars were Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka Shetty & Prakash Raj. And which was directed by National Award-winning director, Krish.
She then starred in South Indian films like Karodpathi (2011), Beware of Dogs (2014), Dillunnodu (2014), Veta (2014), Ladies & Gentlemen (2015), and Jil Jung Juk (2016) and also appeared in many commercial ads.
She made her debut in the Hindi TV industry with Zee TV’s romantic serial Tashan-E-Ishq. Where her co-star was Zain Imam and Sidhant Gupta. Jasmin got the fame from Tashan-E-Ishq which she did not get from South Indian film.
In 2017, Jasmin appeared as the surrogate mother, Teni in Colors TV’s popular show Dil Se Dil Tak. The show loosely based on the 2001 Bollywood film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke. The audience also liked this concept, the show ran for about one and half year.
In 2019, Jasmin played the character of Happy Mehra in Star Plus’s Dil To Happy Ji, but soon she quit due to changes in the story and being uncomfortable playing the role of on-screen mother.
Donal Bisht replaced Jasmin, but still, the show did not impress the audience, and the show went off-air.
She was also seen as a contestant in Colors TV’s reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 (Jigar pe Trigger – 2019 ) where she ended as a semi-finalist; 7th place.
In November 2019, Jasmin joined the cast of Indian supernatural fantasy thriller television series Naagin 4 as Nayantara with Surbhi Jyoti. But things didn’t work out and she left the show.
In 2020, Jasmin participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made in India. The same year, she entered in Bigg Boss 14 house. She was evicted in January 2021. As per the reports, Jasmin will be re-entering the Bigg Boss 14 house.
