Career and Early Life
Reena Thakur was born in 1983 to a Rajput family in Shimla city of Himachal Pradesh, India. Her father used to work in the bank sector but now he is retired. Her mother is a traditional housewife.
She received her early education from Government Senior secondary school, Darlaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India and obtained her graduation from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. After completing her graduation in 1998, she started work as a teacher in a private school, Shimla.
It was 2007 when Reena Thakur joined the Himachal BJP Mahila Morcha, the women’s wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She was slowly becoming stronger in politics on that’s days and was praised for her work by big BJP’s leaders of Shimla like Prem Kumar Dhumal and Jai Ram Thakur.

Reena’s career ended due to a relationship with BJP leader Upen Pandit going viral on the Internet. Reena was belong to a Rajput family of Himachal Pradesh. The name of her parents is not known, she has an elder brother whose name is not known. She has a younger sister, Babita Verma.
