Pooja Banerjee is an Indian TV actress who better known for portraying Nivedita Basu in Star Plus’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. And now playing the lead role of Rhea Mehra in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya.

Biography – Early Life & Career
Pooja Banerjee was born on 8 November 1991 (age 29 in 2021) in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. She later shifted to Nagpur with her family. Pooja completed her schooling from Centre Point School, Nagpur.
Pooja enrolled at Hislop College, Nagpur to pursue her graduation with a Bachelor of Commerce and post-graduation in Masters in English Literature.
In 2011, she made her TV appearance as a contestant from the 8th season of MTV’s reality show Roadies. After this reality show, she became a part of the 2012 Star Plus shows Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
Where Pooja played Tejal Majumdar as the lead female actress in the show Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum and a guest role in the show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
Then from 2013 to 2018 she appeared in many shows like The Adventures of Hatim, Ghar Aaja Pardesi, Swim Team, Halla Bol 2, Maan Na Maan Main Tera Mehmaan, Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha, Chandra Nandini, Chandrakanta, Dil Hi Toh Hai and Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha.
Despite working in the TV industry for so many years, Pooja did not get the fame she truly deserved. But the 2018 TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay proved to be the turning point of Pooja’s career. The audience very much liked this show, and Pooja’s acting in this show was appreciated by the audience.
